ALBURN I A.—The manager reports: “Driving north on the dropper has been advanced a further 10 feet, making a total of 152 feet driven out from the crosscut. The reef in the face has split into several parts, being bands of quartz with country rock between. The quartz broken is of a most favourable description, it now showing a good deal of silica. A further 90 feet of driving in this direction will bring the face under ‘Gribble’s Patch.’ The drive to the Sons of Freedom reef has been advanced from 122 feet to 137 feet. The reef, which is a strong body of ore 2ft. 6in. in width, is continuing to carry the prospects reported last week and the best stone is showing on the hangingwall portion of (he reel.’-
