HUDDART PARKERS FIRM TARANAKI OILS AT 10/Although few shares were dealt with in the call room on ’Change this morning, healthy business was transacted outside. In the miscellaneous section, Taranaki Oils were dealt with at 10s, while ;t sale of Tonson Garlicka is recorded at 11s 6d. Banks and insurances remain in good tone, with a firm demand for most shares. In shipping Huddart-Pakers are firm, with buyers advanced to 50s 6d, and no sellers. In mining, Ohinemuris were dealt with at 7s, and Waihis at 10s lOd. other scrip in this section is idle and depressed.
