ULI M ARO A AT WELLINGTON. An arrival at V ellington at 6 o'clock this morning was the Huddan-Parker Company's passenger steamer Ulixoarca from Sydney. She is the only passenger steamer arriving at New Zealand this week from Australia. The Ulimaroa leaves Wellington at 11 a.m. on Friday on her return trip to Sydney. WELLINGTON - LYTTELTON SERVICE. —The local office of the Union Company have been advised that ihideparture of the ferry steamer Maori from Wellington for Lyttelton on February has been postponed, from 7.45 p.m. until midnight, so as to enable the members of the -Roee Marie” Company to travel by her. HERMINIUS CLEARS BALBOA. —En route from Antwerp to Auckland, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have been advised by cable that the steamer Herminras left Balboa on February 5. THE PORT CAROLINE.—The C. and D Line steamer Port Cajroiine arrived at Xew Plymouth yesterday from the Wanganui roadstead, for further loading. She is to leave New Plymouth at the end of this week agdin for Wanganui, and from that port will go to Wellington, arriving there on February 15. The Port Caroline will sail from Wellington on February 17 for London, via Panama. Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Aivkland on March 24. She is to be followed from New York on April 20 bv the Port Curtis for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. PORT MELBOURNE DUE THURSDAY. Leaving Gisborne this evening for Auckland, the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company advises that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Melbourne is due here on Thursday morning to continue her loading. Next Saturday the vessel sails again for New Plymouth, thence Wellington and Lyttelton to complete, and should clear the latter port finally on February 22 for London, via Panama. DEWEY FROM PACIFIC COAST.—An arrival in the stream at Auckland at six o’clock last evening was AmericanA u stralia-Orient Line steamer Dewey, with a full cargo of lumber, case oil, tar and general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports of America. The Dewey, which was last at Auckland some years ago, loaded at Vancouver, Seattle, Aberdeen (Washington), Gray’s Harbour, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and sailed finally from the last-named port on January 19. Fine weather was experienced throughout the voyage, which was uneventful from port to port. The master. Captain E. H. Phillips, who has been in the company’s service on the China run for some years, is again in command of the vessel, and expressed pleasure at being able to revisit New Zealand. The vessel has in all 6,214 long tons of cargo, all of which will be discharged at New Zealand ports.
