CITY VALUATIONS

OBJECTIONS LODGED VALUER HAS MANY CALLERS Altogether 187 objections have been lodged against the new city valuations, 51 of them coming from Avondale. The lists have been open for inspection for the past three weeks, and hundreds have made a point of calling on the valuation officer. Mr. P. F. Notley, city valuer*, has been seeing 20 to 30 cailers daily and explaining the method of arriving at valuations.
