TENNIS AT THAMES
INTER-CLUB PLAY - The second round for the Lawrence Tennis Cup was played on Saturday, the competing teams being Thames and Hikutaia, both clubs playing an A and B team. Thames A team won by 10 games to 3 and the B representatives were also successful, defeating their opopnents by 11 to 2. Gibbs and Alley beat Dauby and Currie, 9—7. Women's Doubles.—Misses Gibbs lost to Mrs. Glover and Miss Payne, 3—7; Misses Elliott lost to Mrs. Dauby and Miss Hedley, 2—7. Combined Doubles: —C.
