DARING BURGLARY
A WELLINGTON “BREAK” Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. Burglars who entered the shop of W. Hill, tobacconist and hairdresser, Tory Street, displayed remarkable daring, according to the story of a young man who was in the vicinity. He was in his uncle’s car, which was parked in the alleyway at 'he rear of the shop, and he was waiting outside the shop when two men engaged him in conversation. He heard the rattle of tools from the back of the shop, but did not think anything was amiss. Next morning, when the owner returned to the shop, he discovered the back door had been forced open. Tobacco, machines, razors and money to a total value of about £lO are stated to have been taken.
