AMBASSADOR FROM KEW—Dr. A. W. Hill, Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, who is at present visiting Auckland. “I have seen fine reservations in other parts of New Zealand during my tour,” he has said, “but yours seem to be the largest and finest.” A public welcome will be given to Dr, Hill this evening by the Mayor of Auckland.
