NEW GREEN OPENED

CEREMONY AT NEW LYNN The new green of the New Lynn Bowling Club was officially opened by the president, Air. W. P. Rankin, on Saturday, when a large number of members and supporters of the club attended. Airs. Rankin threw the jack and delivered the first bowl, club play being indulged in later. Afternoon tea was provided by a women’s committee. Results of the games are:— Stone, Collard, Kelsall, Hardley, 12 v. Power, Alunro, J. Galloway, Rankin, 16; Parry. Wallet, Young, Webster, 16 v.
