“FLYING” MILK

BATTLE OF BOTTLES INCIDENT AT MOUNT EDEN Milk bottles flew in Rewitangi Street, Mount Eden, this morning. When a milkman returned from delivering the morning’s quota to one of his customers, he found a motor-cyclist helping himself to the bottles in his cart. Naturally, he protested. So, apparently, did the motor-cyclist, who started to throw full bottles of milk at the owner of them. The milkman retaliated and threw the bottles back. An onlooker states that the motorcyclist had taken several bottles and placed them in a sidecar attached to his machine. The pitched battle lasted only a few minutes and then the motor-cyclist rode away. More will be heard of the incident, as the milkman took the number on the motor-cycle.
