STORY COMPETITION
The quaint picture of the two boys sitting side by side with a most angelic air brought the Dawn Lady a large number of entries to judge. All manner of adventures befel these little picture people and some delightful stories came from the very small Sunbeams. The prize this time goes to Joan Brookfield, for her dainty and well-handled little tale, “The Silver Shoe.” First: Joan Brookfield, “Aumoe,” Nelson Street, St. Heliers Bay, Auckland (aged 11).
