SMITH—MORRISON

Doris Adele, the second daughter of Mrs. G. Morrison, and the late Mr. W. Morrison, of Thames and Netherton, made a winsome bride when she was married by the Rev. Mr. Louden, of Paeroa, to Harold John Smith, the second son of Mrs. J. Brophy, of Russell, Bay of Islands.

The ceremony took place in the Presbyterian Church at Netherton. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. W. C. Morrison, and the bridegroom was attended by Mr. A. R. Morrison as best man.

Ficelle-tinted charmeuse was chosen by the bride for her wedding frock and was panelled in effective manner with georgette of a matching shade. Her hat was of crinoline straw in a slightly deeper tone and was prettily trimmed with flowers to harmonise. A bouquet of pale amber-toned flowers was carried. _ Miss Edna Morrison, a sister of the bride, attended her. and wore a pretty frock of embroidered georgette in a striking gold tone. She carried a bouquet of gladioli and carnations. Two little flower girls followed the bride the Misses Enid and Merle Smith, wearing petite frocks of lavender and pink shades, made in daintily frilled fashion. They each carried a posy of flowers to tone.
