One day's churning has produced Jfu,- r f7i2lbs. of "butter. !N 1886 the first “ Anchor.” Factory was built for Mr. Reynolds at Pukekura. This building (illustrated above) still stands. Just about the same time a great Industrial Ehibition was held in Melbourne. Some samples of “Anchor” Butter were sent over to compete with the Australian product.
