NEW APPOINTMENT MADE By Cable.- Press Association.- Copyright. RUGBY, Wed. Lieutenant - Colonel Sir Ronald Waterhouse has resigned his position as Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister in order to accept a directorship on the board of the Canadian Investment Trust and its associated companies. The Prime Minister has appointed Mr. R. G. Vansittart to succeed to the position. Sir Patrick Gower will continue to occupy the position of joint Principal Private Secretary.—A. and N.Z.
