JURY-WOMEN PALE AT HICKMAN TRIAL By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 11 a.m. LOS ANGELES, Thurs. The judge was compelled to order the court into recess at the trial of the youth Hickman. Jurywomen paled when they were forced to inspect photographs of the dismembered remains of Marion Parker,, the 12-year-old schoolgirl with whose murder Hickman is charged, and some swayed in their seats. Counsel for the defence introduced the pictures in an attempt to prove by their horror that Hickman must be insane.—A. and N.Z.
