T[R. B. P. EDWARDS, of tH« Mardella stud farm, having finished a busy season with lits high grade sires. The Triumph and Worthy Bond, is turning his attention to the preparation of several candidates in view of approaching fixtures. Jogging work is done on the private track at Mardella, but the veteran enthusiast visits the Otahuhu course frequently for more solid tasks. Those in work are Blair Audubon, who will be a competitor at the Otahuhu meeting; Jaspar, who will be seen in action at country fixtures; a maiden trotter, Nebraska, by El Carbine from Hundalee; a daughter of that good (rare Canzonetta. and the handsome three-year-old colt by Man o* War—Canzonetta. The quartette are in excellent condition, demonstrating the great care taken of the stock at Mardella by Mr. Edwards and his daughters, who are also experts at the work.
