REMINDERS Acceptances for the Taranaki Jockey Club’s meeting close to-day at 9 p.m. Nominations for the annual meeting of the Te Aroha Jockey Club will close with the secretary, Mr. G. A. Bush, Te Aroha, or with Messrs, j Blomfield and Co., High Street, Auck- ; land, by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Febru- j ary 8. Weights will be declared on j Tuesday, February 14. Nominations for the Franklin meet- 1 mg will be received by the secretary, 1 Pukekohe, or by Mr. A. J. Farquhar, j secretary, Avondale Jockey Club, up till 5 p.m. on Friday, February 17Handicaps are due on Tuesday, Februar3f 28. The Ohinemuri meeting is to be held on March 17 and 19. Nominations will close with the secretary at Paeroa, or with Messrs. Blomfield and Co., High Street, Auckland, at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 17. Acceptances for all events at the Wanganui Jockey Club’s autumn meeting will be accepted up till 8 p.m. on Friday, February 10. Handicaps will appear on February 6. Weights for all events at the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s meeting will be declared on Monday, February 6, ang acceptances will close on the same day at 8 p.m.
