MAN DROPS DEAD
WELL-KNOWN DUNEDIN RESIDENT Press Association. DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Joseph Evans, a married man, aged 51 years, dropped dead yesterday afternoon at a house in Maitland Street, where he had been paying a business call. The deceased, who was well-known in local trotting circles, and who was keenly interested in all that concerned the sport, had for the past 26 years been employed as a grain salesman with Messrs. Waters, Ritchie and Co., prior to which he was with Messrs. A. Moritzon and Co. He had been suffering from heart trouble Xor some years. - .
