MINISTER TO TOUR
SOUTH ISLAND VISIT (From Our Own Correspondent) WELLINGTON, Wednesdy. The Hon. O. J. Hawken, Minister of Agriculture and Commissioner of State Forests, left Wellington this afternoon for an extensive tour of the South Island. He sailed by the Picton Ferry and he is staying at Blenheim until Friday morning, when he proceeds to Hanmer to stay a night. Saturday night will see him in Christchurch and on Monday morning he leaves for the West Coast, spending the night at Hokitika. He will be at Grey mouth on Friday week.
