Mr. Sidney Chaplin, of New Zealand, is one of the seven candidates selected for the final competition for the Rome architectural scholarship for 1928.—A* and N.Z. Mr Sidney Chaplin is an old boy of Napier Boys’ High School, and the son of a Hastings schoolmaster. In order to continue his studies as an architect he worked his passage to England during the shipping strike of 1925.
