COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Wairaea sailed from Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, and returns here next Sunday. The Kurow left Lyttelton at 5 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about Sunday, and, after discharge, .loads at Auckland for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Katoa is loading at Westport today and completes at Pieton on Friday for Auckland, where she is due about Monday next. The Kamo’ loads at Greymbuth to-day for Tauranga and Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The Kamona is now leaving Auckland to-morrow for Wellington and Greymouth. The Waiotapu is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, thence Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle. The Kaiapoi left here early this morning for Castlecliff to complete her discharge of Walpole Island phosphates. The Gunbar is expected to arrive at Auckland during the week-end from the East Coast and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and bays. En route to Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland, the Waipiata arrived at Dunedin at 8 o’clock this morning. She is to he dispatched again to-morrow evening. The Kaimanawa sails from Westport at 7 o’clock to-morrow morning for Auck-
land with a cargo of coal. She is due here toward the end of the week. The Kaitangata sails from Greymouth at 7 'o’clock to-morrow morning for Westport to complete loading coal for Napier and Auckland. She is due here next week. The Torea is to be dispatched at four o’clock this evening for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Motu was to sail at eleven o’clock this morning for Whakatane. The Matangi, sailing at seven o’clock evening for Tan ran ga, returns again at 7 o’clock on Friday morning. The Rangitoto sailed at 10 o'clock this morning for Thames. She is due back at half-past seven to-morrow evening. The Waiuku returns from Waiheke at six o’clock this evening, and sails again at half-past nine to-morrow morning for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha. The Omana left at ten o’clock this morning for Warkworth. She is expected to arrive back at eight o’clock this evening. The Otimai was to sail at ten o'Glock this morning for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Taniwha arrives at half-past eleven this evening from Paeroa. She is scheduled to sail at 9 o’clock to-morrow evening- for the same port. The Hauiti is expected at half-past seven this evening from Coromandel and Colville. She sails k at half-past eight to-morrow morning for Kopu and Turua. The Kawau should arrive from Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana at seven o’clock this evening. She is scheduled to sail at 8.30 a.m. to-morow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The Waipu is due at eight o’clock tomorrow morning from Kerepeehi. She leaves again at 9 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Claymore, arriving at half-past three to-morrow morning from Whangarei, sails at 5 o’clock the same afternoon on the return trip. The Apanui is due from Mercury Bay. Tairua and Whangamata at four o’clock to-morrow morning, and it is hoped to ’dispatch her again five hours later for the Great Barrier. The Scot sails to-night for Waipu. The Coronation sailed last evening for Awanui. She is due back on Friday and sails at noon on Saturday for the same port.
The Isabella de Fraine is to come off slip to-morrow and sail in the evening for ‘Hokianga.
