DIXIELAND CABARET
FLANNEL DANCE TO-NIGHT Conventionalism may be forgotten at Dixieland Cabaret, Point Chevalier, this evening, when a flannel dance will be held. A flannel dance affords the male dancers the opportunity of appearing not in conventional evening dress, but in comfortable and cool flannels. This chance to keep cool and yet enjoy all the pleasures of dancing should be very welcome. The fresh, cool, sea breezes which are one of the attractions of Dixieland always help to make the evening enjoyable, but how much more so when flannels and not evening dress are the order. When dancing at Dixieland this evening, the male dancers will therefore have no need to envy their fair partners the comfort and freedom of cool, loose clothing. Paramount announce that “Gentlemen Prefer* Blondes” is. already well under way.
