AS A FLAGSHIP IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR—The six-masted barquentine E. R. Sterling as she appeared at an Auckland Regatta. The barquentine while disabled in one storm was overtaken by a hurricane. Three of her masts were swept over the side and the chief mate was killed.
