AVALON’S CREW FOR SANDERS CUP
The crew to sail Avalon, Auckland’s challenger for the Sanders Cup contest to be held at Stewart Island next month, is announced this morning. Mr. J. Patrick has been selected skipper, and associated with him are Messrs. F. Cloke. owner, H. Browne and E. Matthews. The yachtsmen will probably leave for the South on Sunday week. Avalon will be sent to Stewart Island next Saturday by the first available steamer.
