Hurt by Accident. —While unloading the Northern Steamship Company’s vessel Taniwha at Paeroa yesterday. Adolphe Frederick Hansen, a seaman, was struck by a case, and his spine injured. He was brought to Auckland by the ship and taken to hospital by the St. John ambulance. He is to undergo an x-ray examination. His condition is not serious. He is a married man and lives at Mount Eden. Fall from Truck. —Mr. Francesco Terazza, aged 45, a labourer employe J at the Public Works camp at Orakei, was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from a fractured ankle received through falling from a truck on the new railway at Orakei. His condition is satisfactory.
