FIRE AT SURFDALE

COTTAGE DAMAGED Fire damaged a small summer cottage at Surfdale, Waiheke, on Sunday. The flames spread from a blaze on a vaednt section adjoining. There is no water supply on the island, but the Surfdale Progressive Association, which has been formed to deal with such emergencies, soon gathered on the spot and attacked the flames.
