RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“TIME TO LOVE” A coffin, a brace of duelling pistols, a spiritualist’s gazing crystal, a perambulator, a bottle of wine, a battery of anti-aircraft guns, and four captive balloons were some of the “props” used in filming “Time to Love,” Raymond Griffith’s Paramount starring comedy, which is being shown at the Rialto and Regent Theatres. “Time to Love” is an hilarious story of a Frenchman’s devious difficulties in winning the young Countess he loves. Spiritualism, -duelling and ballooning are combined in its situations. Frank Tuttle directed a cast headed by William Powell and Vera Voronina. • A realistic fight in an Alaskan barroom is one of the features of Metropolitan's “The Flame of the Yukon,” featuring Seena Owen and Arnold Graj’, which is the second feature on the programme. The fight is between Gray and Matthew Betz, who plays the part of Black Jack Hovey, a gambler. There are many exciting scenes in the picture.
