MAN RESCUED FROM SURF UNCONSCIOUS FOR AN HOUR Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Today In the last stages of exhaustion. E.nd with a severe attack of cramp, a man named Unwin was rescued from the surf at New Brighton yesterday afternoon. Bn win was out of his death when he had a seizure of cramp. His plight was noticed by a patrolman, aud the life-saving team made a smart turnout. After an hour’s resuscitation efforts, Unwin became conscious, and was later taken to his home.
