FULL DAY AT EDEN PARK Eden Fighting for Runs TO enjoy the usual full day's cricket on the Anniversary Day holiday, cricketers turned out at Eden Park this morning, in much the same conditions as prevailed on Saturday afternoon—humid weather with the wickets fast. Eden batted against Parnell, and with Gillespie out for 10, Postles for 32, the champions are fighting hard for runs. Y.M.C.A. is batting in its match with Ponsonby.

GRAFTON V. UNITED SUBURBS FORMER ALL OUT FOR 107 Grafton batted first against United Suburbs at Eden Park this morning and made a bad start, five wickets falling in less than an hour for SS. Horspool, Wylie, Goodwin and Hopkins were easily disposed of, and then Dykes and Street got busy, the former hitting boundaries in regular succession. The pair brought 90 up after an hour and 15 minutes. When 54, Dykes hit one into a sub’s hands at mid-on. The ■score was now 101. Turvey went on and lasted for two, when he gave Martin a great catch. Taylor joined Street, and was clean bowled by Wilson for a duck. Hamilton was last man, Pope being absent. The innings closed after an hour and 35 minutes, when Hamilton was run out, the score being 107 for nine wickets.
