Motor Cyclists Fatally Injured
YOUNG MEN KILLED ACCIDENT NOT WITNESSED (From Our Oicn Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. A motor-cycle collision on Sunday evening on the Te Poi—Okoroiro Road resulted in the death of two young men, Norman Edwin Castleton, aged 18 years, and John Henry Thomas, Harry Young, aged 1$ years. Young, who was employed as a cheesemaker at Te Poi, was riding toward the factory, Castleton was proceeding to Patetere from Te Poi when the accident occurred. No one witnessed the impact, but help was not long in coming, and both men were conveyed to the Waikato Hospital. Young died before the institution was reached, and Castleton succumbed this morning. Both men were single. Young was a son of Mrs. Geoffrey Young, of Rukuhia, and Castleton was a son of Mr. Louis Castleton, farmer, of Patetere. The inquest was formally opened and adjourned.
