BLTCHER’S SHOP BLRNED A butcher's shop, owned by Mrs. 3 D. Ritchie at Waihi Beach, to totally destroyed by fire about 2JI « Sunday morning. Mr Ritchie, who 9 sides cl ose tc the shop, was arot» by loud reports, these being cat* by the plaster-board spurring, and * had only time to save the aeikvalued at £ 80. No water being available, nottil could be done to suppress the *•? break, and the fire-fighting c® l *! were concentrated on saving th« f* ll ' l dence next door. The shop wu i»* sured in the London and Lacca*** Insurance orfice for £ 90. and the ft ting for £75 in the same office.
