ACTRESS SHOT DEAD
TRAGEDY AT BUDAPEST By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Thursday. A message from Budapest says that after she had dressed ready to go to a ball, Valentinia Conviei, a beautiful leading actress of the National Theatre, at Bucharest, was found shot dead in her dressing-room. Her husband, a rich merchant whose house was the rendezvous of artists and writers, was also found shot. He i may recover.—A. and N.Z.
