r . T. Green arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited. The Rev. F. Campbell was a passenger ty the Limited last evening. McCalium, Remuera, has returned from Christchurch, where he attended the bowling championships. Professor F. P. Worley arrived from tho South this morning by the Limited. He has been visiting National Park. Mr. T. W. Horn, manager of the Bank of Australasia in South Australia. has been elected chairman of the Associated Banks in South Australia for the coming 12 months. Mr. R. E. Tripe, who has been appointed associate to Mr. Justic'e Blair will take up the position at Auckland this week. He will be missed in Wellington cricketing- circles,, as he was a popular member of the University senior eleven. Mr. and Mrs. Betty Howell have arrived in Wellington from America Mr. Howell is a cheese manufacturer from Illinois, U.S.A., and will visit Hawera, among other places In the Dominion, to study New Zealand methods of dealing with dairy produce.
