Bishop of London Interest in East End fy Catls. —Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Wednesday. Saying, that he felt younger than he did 20 year* ago, the Bishop of London, t)r. Winning ton Ingram, who will be 7« year* of age to-morrow, attributed his health and youthfulness to teetotallam, non-smoking and regular exercise. He said he had not consulted a doctor for live years. Dr. Ingram said he was chiefly interested in the problems of the East End of London. They has not been the same grinding poverty in that district as formerly, but the youths whom the dole was demoralising were terribly disturbed by' the effects of unemployment. He was anxious .therefore, to secrre for them a man’s life in the overseas Empire. He hoped Parliament would pass the smended Prayer Book. Scotland and America, he said, had practised the Reserration of the Sacrament and It had not done them harm.—A. and N.Z.— Sun.
