WOMAN’S BAD RECORD GAOL FOR TWELVE MONTHS Press Association. PALMERSTON N., Thurs. Phyllis Bock, who on Saturday escaped from the lock-up, was recaptured yesterday and sentenced this morning to 12 months’ imprisonment for having no lawful visible means of support. Accused created a scene in court and had to be forcibly removed. A lengthy record of previous convictions was detailed by the police sergeant, who described Bock as a menace to society.
