REORGANISATION ORDER BRITAIN TO SUPPLY ARMS By Cable.—Press Associatioxi. — Copyright. Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Wed. The Lisbon correspondent of “The Times” states that an army order reorganising and reducing the permanent regimental establishment and providing for rearming the forces with more modern weapons, has been issued. The reductions affect 500 officers, the new peace strength being 4.100 officers and 23,000 other ranks. The moblisation strength is S.OOO and 240,000 respectively. There is an additional budget in the army estimates for arms entailing an expenditure of £250,000. As far as possible these will be obtained in Great Britain..— Times. ■
