ATTACK ON ROTARY
DOES NOT APPLY TO CHRISTCHURCH (Special to THE SUX.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Officials of the Rotary Club at Christchurch cannot understand the criticism offered by Mr. Julius Hog*
ben at Auckland concerning the Rotary movement. Dr. P. S. Foster, president of the club in Christchurch, said that the remarks of Mr. Hogben did not apply to Christchurch, where the club did not work on the lines suggested. Mr. D. Hoare, secretary, said that the Christchurch club could not criticise what had been said because the methods of the club here were not those as indicated by Mr. Hogben. The remarks did not apply to Christchurch, and were aimed, apparently, at some domestic matters of the Auckland cluh.
