A Big Deficiency. —Debts of £20,688, unsecured, and assets amounting to £IOO, were features of the bankruptcy of a Methven farmer, Robert Wallace Wightman. Bankrupt said that three years ago he had £17,000, and seven years ago he had £ 52,000 to his credit. Mortgages on his properties, most of which fell back to various mortgagees, totalled £68,000.
