TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY.—At. 11 a.m. on Saturday the local office of the Union Company hopes to dispatch the Island passenger steamer Tofua from Auckland for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. PORT DUNEDIN SAILS.—The C. and D. Line advises that the motor-ship Pert Dunedin, which has been loading on the New Zealand coast, sailed from Wellington at 8.30 p.m. yesterday for Londrn, via Panama. HINEMOA SAlLS.—Spedding, Ltd., advises that the Government steamer Hinemoa, which left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Norfolk Island, returns here on February 2, and sails the following day for Niue Island. SURREY DEPARTS.—A departure from Wellington this morning was the Federal steamer Surrey bound for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, via Panama. The vessel loaded a full cargo of New Zealand produce for Home. KAIAPOI DUE SATURDAY.—En route from Walpole Island the Union Company lias been advised by cable that the Ka apoi sailed from Noumea at 7 p.m. last Monday for Auckland, where she is due on Saturday. Union Company advises that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi sailed from Sydney at 11.30 a.m. last Tuesday for Sura. The vessel is expected to leave the Fijian port on February 2 for Auckland, whore she is due on February 8. WARSHIPS RETURNING.—At halfpast four this afternoon, H.M.S. Diomede is to return to Auckland after a week's gunnery exercises in the Hauraki Gulf. H.M.S. Dunedin and the sloops Veronica and Laburnum are expected back at Auckland to-morrow. AORANGI ON SUNDAY.—Due at Suva this afternoon from Vancouver, the Union Company expects the R.M.M.S. Aorangi to arrive at Auckland on Sunday afternoon. The liner is scheduled to leave Auckland again at 8 p.m. next Tuesday for Sydney continuation of her voyage. MIDDLESEX FROM HOME.—Although no radio advice has been received, the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company expects the Federal steamer Middlesex to arrive at Auckland during the coming week-end from London. After discharge here the Middlesex proceeds to Wellington and New Plymouth to complete, after which she loads in the South, then returns to Auckland for final loading. The vessel is scheduled to sail from Auckland on March 7 for New York, Halifax and London via Panama.

1 CARGO FROM EAST CANADA.—News Iby cable has been received by the New ! Zealand Shipping Company that the Ikala I left Sydney (Cape Breton) on Saturday for St. John to continue loading for New Zealand and Australia. WAIHEMO FOR DOCKING.—Due at Auckland to-morrow morning from Westport, the local office of the Union Company advises that the Waihemo will dock for cleaning and painting. It is hoped to dispatch her on Saturday for the Pacific Coast, where she will load for New Zealand ports during February. HERTFORD TO LOAD.—The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the Federal steamer Hertford will load in Auckland early in February for London. Her other loading ports and her final port of departure have not yet been fixed. RON A SAILED.—To complete discharging her cargo of raw sugar and molasses from Suva the Colonial Sugar Refining Company’s steamer Rona sailed from Auckland at half-past; eight last evening for Sydney. She is to load again shortlv at Suva for Sydney and Auckland. SYDNEY STEAMERS. The Ulimaroa leaves Auckland at 11 a.m. to-mor-row for Sydney and both the Maunganui and the Marama sail from Sydney at 3 p.m. to-morrow, the Maunganui for Wellington and the Marama for Auckland. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. KAIRANGA FOR AUCKLAND.—The local office of the Union Company has? been advised that the cargo steamer Kairanga is to leave Williamstown on Saturday for Auckland, where she is due on February 7. After discharge here, the Kairanga proceeds to Newcastle for loading. RUAHINE AT LYTTELTON.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the liner Ruahine arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru and leaves to-morrow for Wellington, where she completes her loading and finally departs on February 4 for Southampton and London via Panama. RIMUTAKA AT OPUA.—To continue her loading the Nqw Zealand Shipping Company's steamer “Rimutaka arrived at Opua this morning from Wellington. The vessel leaves on Saturday for Auckland, tvhere she completes loading, and finally departs on February 2 for Southampton and Londodn via Panama. O. A. KNUDSEN LEAVES SAN LUIS. —Cabled news has been received that the tanker O. A. Knudsen left San Luis at 9 p.m. last Thursday for Wellington. The vessel brings a cargo of oil fuel for discharge into the Union Company’s tanks at Miramar, and is due there on February 13. KAIWARRA LEAVES MELBOURNE. —Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the cargo steamer Kaiwarra sailed from Melbourne at noon on Tuesday last for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday next. After discharge here, the Kaiwarra will probably proceed to Newcastle for loading. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— Although no radio message has been received the local office of the Union Company expects the trans-Pacific cargo steamer Waiotapu to arrive at Auckland on Saturday from the Pacific Coast ports. After discharge here the Waiotapu proceeds to Wellington, thence Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle to complete her discharge. PORT BOWEN TO LOAD.—Heather, Roberton and Company have been advised that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen is due at Opua on February 13 from Australia to commence loading for Home. The vessel will also load at Southern ports, and then return to Auckland to complete. She is scheduled to clear this port finally on March 2 for West of England ports and London, via Panama. MAMILIUS TO LOAD. —Cabled news lias been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Mamilius (late Zealandic) left Newcastle on Sunday morning for Wanganui roadstead, where she is due at noon to-day, to commence loading for London. The vessel will load at other Dominion ports yet to be announced, and will sail finally from New Zealand on February 22 for London, via Panama. NORTHUMBERLAND DUE MONDAY. —The Federal steamer Northumberland leaves New Plymouth on Saturday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday to continue her loading under the agency of the Zealand Shipping Company. From this port the vessel proceeds to Napier and Wellington to complete loading, and is scheduled to sail finally from the latter port on February II for London and West of England ports via Panama.
