At to-day’s wool i*ales 10.366 bale* were- sold, of which 6,803 were Australian and 1,042 New Zealand There was a large offering of Merinos. All sections met with good general competition at full rates. An average selectiou of crossbreds brought firm prices. The following prices were realis- r «i for New Zealand clips:—Panikau. top. 22£d; average, 20d; Htuini. top. 26d average, 23d; Waiau, top, average. 20d.—A. and N.Z.
