TREES FOR DEVONPORT The Devonport Borough Council last evening thankfully accepted the offer of a forestry company to give 1.0)0 trees for planting in the borough. The Mayor said that on recent Sundays he had visited Cheltenham and wa s surprised at the small number of shelter or shade trees. Cr. Walsh said that the people of Narrow Neck had suggested a working bee to plant- shelter trees and world appreciate the offer of expert help. At Milford a tree-planting scheme was being discussed to benefit picknickers.
