ADMIRAL DE ROBECK MOURNERS LiNE STREETS By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. To a salute of 19 minute guns, . and with every flag half-masted, the late Admiral of the Fleet Sir John Michael De Robeck was impressively buried at Bembridge, Isle of Wight. The pall-bearers were Admirals of the Fleet Earl Jellicoe, Sir Charles Madden, Sir Somerset GoughCalthorpe, Admirals Sir Montague Browning, Sir Frederick Brock, Generals Sir Waiter Braith waite, Sir George Milne, and Major-General Halliday. The mine-sweeper aterham, escorted by destroyers, conveyed the Union Jack-covered coffin, on which rested the admiral’s cocked hat and sword, from Portsmouth, where the streets were lined with mourners, including: General lan Hamilton and Admiral De Robeck’s veterans. Admiral Sir Arthur Leveson represented the Xing. All branches of the service were present.—A. and N.Z.
