DISCREET BEDCOVERS
BEAUTY IN THE ROOM Bliarre and exotic covers of brocade, lame, velvet or georgette, trimmed with fur or ostrich feathers, are no longer new. The discriminating housewife prefers to drape them daintily, but firmly in a “one piece” of spotted muslin and lace .over a foundation of ecru taffetas. The sketch
■hows one of these discreet bed covers in position. It is not in itself a new idea, because for some years now the housewife has been getting away from the orthodox and bringing to her bedroom that definite charm of arrangement so much the forte of a woman. There are innumerable ideas at present in existence, and the colour schemes that can be blended are just as numerous. An attractive bedroom is always made more attractive by such additions as these, and the style of bed cover shown is one that gains in popularity day by day.
