ONEHUNGA VOTES ON £20,000 LOAN PROPOSAL
POLLING TO-DAY Onehunga ratepayers are voting today on the proposal to raise a loan of £, 20,000 for the purpose of laying down a concrete roadway and footpaths in Mount Smart Road and Church Street West. The voting on the loan is proceeding steadily, but p. considerable amount of opposition is being evinced. Those opposed to the loan, although not organised in any way, are showing much activity. There are 2,500 ratepayers on tttfe roll.
