FUND TO BE OPENED A WELLINGTON MOVEMENT Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Last evening a representative public meeting in the Council Chamber authorised the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Troup, to open a fund to provide for the dependants of Captarin Hood and Lieutenant Moncrieff, who met an unknown fate when attempting to fly across the Tasman Sea. The Mayor. Sir Harold Beauchamp, and Mr. P. Blundell were appointed trustees.
