GAZE LANDS PRESIDENT’S DISCOURSE WINS AGAIN FOXTON, Monday. Press Association. The Foxton Racing Club’s summer fixture was concluded to-day in excellent weather, and in the presence of a large assemblage. • The racing was keen and interesting, and speculators were not far astray in their selections. The totalisator handled £14,738 against £17,180 for the final day last year. The total for the 1926 fixture was £31,590, while this year £26,917 was handled by the staff, a decrease of £4,673. After the President’s Handicap, Potter, rider of the winner Gaze, was cautioned for interference with the favourite, Henna, during the race, and for a similar offence in the Carnarvon Hack, against Twink, Webster, rider of Land Rent, also received a reprimand.
