Wilkes, who arrived this morning by the Arawa, will Join Bishop Cherrington for service in the Waikato Diocese. The bishop and Mr. HVilkes were together during the war. Mr. R. C. D. Lightbourne, for the last five years organising teacher for the Hamilton district, has been appointed headmaster of the Waihi District High School. He will take up his new duties when the schools reopen next month. The Rev. G. H. Gibb, formerly of the Presbyterian Church, Parnell, Auckland, who, accompanied by Mrs. Gibb, has just completed a two years’ tour of Britain and the Continent, has returned to New Zealand. Mr. William Wallace, chiirman of the Auckland Hospital Board, left for Wellington last evening. He will attend a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Hospitals Association, of which ho is the president. With him was Mr. A. J. Brown, architect to the board, and Mr. J. H.
