LATE MR. J. H. LAMPITT

Mr. John Henry I.ampitt, who died at his home, Kimberley Road, Epsom, at the age of 60, was born in Gloucestershire, England, and at the age of five came to New Zealand with his mother, Mrs. J. Beasley, of Mount Eden. He was a sergeant in the Newton Volunteer Rifles, and for over 40 years was a member of the Ancient Order of Foresters. At the funeral yesterday prominent lodge members acted as pall-bearers. Mr. Lampitt spent all his life in Auckland, and for most of the time lived in the Epsom district. He is survived by his wife, one son and four daughters, all of Auckland.
