NEXT WEEK’S GATHERING
A large number of entries have been received for the Paeroa Athletic Club s cycling gala, which is to be held on Saturday, February 4. Nominations are well over 40, Ineluding well-known men, such as S. Hayes and J. H. Harcourt The North Island champion cyclist, Sid. W. McCann, who has recently returned from Australia, has nominated. Several other prominent cyclists from Taranaki are competing, including the first and second in the 100-mile circular road race, C. Tippins and H. A, Inch. A further late nomination has been received from the New Plymouth champion, C. B. Parker.
