A match betwen St. Duke's and Cotta was played at Rotorua to-day. In the first innings St. Luke's made 89 (Burton 3S. Lewis 30, Ben no 10). Col;-* replied with ISS (Hart 88, Garrard 31. Moir J 5. Corlett 11). St. Luke's made (5 for one wicket in the second innings <.Hampeon not out 24, Hinton 36).
HAMILTON, Sunday. Cricket matches which diced the second round of the Waikato Cricket Association fixtures were played yesterday. In the senior competitions Hamilton East beat Frankton by 21 runs. Hamilton East made 106 in tae second innings (Going 27, Skeet 22, Cjssidy 18). Frankton responded with 91 (McGrath not out 19, Cobbe 18, Hun wick 17, Swan 15). Old Boys defeated Hamilton by 97 runs. In the second innings the winners made 163 (Wilson 39, nouqn 31, Lenihan 18, Tuck 14. Backland 12). Hamilton made 107 (Winger 25, Robertson 14, Millar 12, Howel 10).
WHANGAREI, Sunday. In a cricket match played at Hikvranfi yesterday, Hikurangi made 145 and 59. Whangarei. playing sight men in tbs first innings and six in the second, made 76 and 35.
A match between Waiuki and >3le.ibrooke took place to-day, and resulted in a drawn game. Waiuku made 22» runs (Howden retired 50, H. Cooper retired 50, Molloy 24, Heise 17). When time was called, Glenbrooke had lost seven

TE AWAMUTU. Satuiday The Waipa Cricket Association’s cfci.Tr.pionship match at Te Awamutu to-dav was between Paterangi and High School. Paterangi scored 170 (P. Bourne C 4, R. Boui-ne 29) in the first innings, to which High School replied with 75 (J. Philp 55). Following on. High School was disposed of for 38. Paterangi, in the second innings, compiled 123 for six wickets (L. Spiers 48, W. Somerville 33).
