STOLEN CARS
“JOYRIDERS” AGAIN After a period of freedom from the activities of the motor thief, two cases were reported on Saturday evening. An Essex coach belonging to Mr. J. R. Robertson, auctioneer, was taken from a parking area in Victoria Street between 5.30 o’clock and 6 o’clock on Saturday evening. It was found later in the evening undamaged in Wellesley Street. A seven-seater Studebaker belonging to Mr. Leslie Houghton, of Ohaupo, was stolen from Hamilton on Saturday evening. It is an old model, bearing the number 24-589. The car had not been recovered this morning.
